Janette has more than 30 years’ experience in Scottish property law, working in both residential, commercial, and rural sectors. She is interested in all aspects of property law and enjoys a varied caseload of property transactions which includes security work, purchases and sales (residential and rural), leasing, the preparation of voluntary registrations for large estates and the preparation of entries for the new register, the Register of Persons Holding a Controlled Interest in Land where required.

She appreciates the significance of property transactions for both individuals and commercial entities as transactions often involve major asset(s) and matters of personal importance to clients.

Janette’s aim is to provide good communication, clear advice and support to make sure a client’s property experience runs as smoothly as possible. This involves pre-empting any potential difficulties’, paying attention to the detail and working out practical solutions to any potential difficulties. The goal is always to achieve the best outcome for clients in any given circumstance.
