Murray McCall

As our Managing Partner, Murray is responsible for all major day-to-day business and for shaping and implementing our company strategy. Alongside fulfilling this senior role with both flair and authority, Murray is a member of our Brexit group and looks after many of our largest clients, such as INEOS, The Scottish Government, Scottish Prison Service and the University of the West of Scotland.

As a specialist employment lawyer for many years, Murray provides expert advice on strategic projects and major employment litigation. Always a strong advocate of employer/employee relations, he has made it a core priority to establish Anderson Strathern as the ‘legal employer of choice’ in Scotland. It’s a sound strategy that ensures all our clients are looked after by the very best professionals.

Listening to both clients and employees is an important part of Murray’s role and helps him identify the best paths for improvement across the business. He is determined to add to our already impressive array of legal and employer accreditations and is dedicated to encouraging each of our employees to achieve their professional best. In the rare spare time that he has, Murray spends time with his family and is a keen cyclist and badminton player. He also sings in a choir and indulges in a little karaoke on occasion.
