Legal Traineeships
Are you talented, ambitious, commercially minded and looking for a legal traineeship in Scotland? Then we want to hear from you today!
We recruit trainees and summer students to help them to experience the legal world before qualifying. You’ll be fully immersed from day one, working alongside our award-winning specialists. This will give you an insight into where you want to take your career with us.
You will have support and training as well as a dedicated buddy and mentor to guide you. Soak it up and you’ll have a wealth of practical and commercial experience that will be invaluable to your future career.
Our legal trainees learn from our industry leading specialists and experts across our commercial real estate, corporate, dispute resolution, employment, rural, residential and private client teams. Working in four departments during your two-year traineeship, you will gain a fully rounded experience of the firm and our specialisms. Our trainees are involved in our committees, organising social events for the firm and participating in our equality, diversity and inclusion agenda.
We are no longer accepting applications for our 2025 traineeship. We will be opening applications for 2026 traineeships in the autumn of 2024.
