Join tax planning expert Alison Pryde and Caroline Pringle, specialist in estate planning to hear about essential tips for Private Client Practitioners as we enter 2023. They will discuss some deadlines and planning for the year ahead and what you should be raising with your clients including –

  • Planning for changes to Capital Gains Tax Allowances and Income Tax Bands
  • Land and Buildings Transaction Tax and Additional Dwelling Supplement – potential pitfalls.
  • Inheritance Tax planning and review of available exemptions

Meet the Speakers


Alison Pryde | Director

Alison is a Chartered Tax Advisor having trained and worked within the Big 4 accountancy firms for many years before moving to a law firm. Alison focuses on providing proactive tax planning for high net worth individuals, trusts, estate and land owners, family owned businesses and individuals moving to and from the UK.

Alison’s experience allows her to advise on a broad range of taxes including inheritance tax, capital gains tax, income tax and Land and Building Transaction Tax. Alison has a particular interest in inheritance tax planning and has worked with landowners to maximise inheritance tax reliefs prior to diversification of the business and advises on how farming and let properties should be held to secure available reliefs.


Caroline Pringle | Director

Caroline specialises in advising individuals, trustees and families on a broad range of personal legal matters, with an emphasis on estate planning, asset protection and capital tax (inheritance tax and capital gains tax) mitigation. This includes advising on wills, lifetime gifting, succession planning, as well as the creation, administration and termination of trusts or other tax efficient structures.

Caroline embraces the role of trusted advisor, and finds pragmatic and bespoke solutions to suit an individual’s or family’s specific needs. She also has considerable experience with Powers of Attorney, Guardianship orders, incapacity issues in general, as well as with charities.
