Lauren Doherty

Lauren is a Solicitor in our Healthcare, Public and Regulatory team. She focuses on personal injury, professional regulation, and public law cases, including those involving public bodies and local authorities. In her personal injury work, Lauren’s background is in pursuing workplace injuries, including assaults and in cases where catastrophic injuries have occurred.

Lauren is instructed by and appears before several fitness to practise panels for regulatory bodies across Scotland.  She has appeared in sheriff courts in respect of adult welfare and incapacity issues and has experience with appeals, petitions and judicial reviews in the Court of Session. Lauren also provides support and advice to public bodies, education institutions and private clients in various public inquiries. She is a member of the Association of Regulatory and Disciplinary Lawyers (ARDL).

Beyond work, Lauren enjoys live music, travel and exploring the Scottish outdoors.  She has recently taken up competitive weightlifting to challenge herself outside of her career.
