Jennifer McPhee

Jennifer is a solicitor in our Healthcare, Public and Regulatory Team with an impressive body of defender professional disciplinary and regulatory work. She has regularly appeared before the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), General Dental Council (GDC), The Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and The Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).

Having attained her Masters in Human Rights Law, Jennifer is keen advocate of protecting individual’s rights as well as protecting the various reputations of the professions that she appears before. She has a passion for the specialist area of professional disciplinary and regulatory law and prior to qualifying as a lawyer, she worked in a policy and legal capacity for several regulatory bodies including the General Medical Council (GMC), Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), The Scottish Environmental Agency (SEPA), as well as the Scottish Government.  Jennifer is also involved in healthcare personal injury cases and negligence claims within her team.

Outside of work, Jennifer is an avid traveller who enjoys Scuba diving in far flung destinations, to date her most adventurous endeavour has been scuba diving with hundreds of Hammerhead sharks off the coast of the Galapagos Islands.
