Ruth is a Partner in the Commercial Property team with over 30 years’ experience. She specialises in residential development, advising housebuilders, developers and investors on the acquisition, assembly and sale of development land, with a focus on achieving commercially successful outcomes.
Her expertise spans purchase and sale contracts, site assembly, joint ventures, option agreements and mixed-use development. She also deals with Build to Rent schemes and Purpose Built Student Accommodation (PBSA).
Ruth also manages post-acquisition processes, preparing sites for onward plot sales and leading a team of paralegals to ensure smooth transactions. She is known for combining technical skill with a pragmatic, deal-focused approach.
Ruth is the lead partner for key clients of the firm including J Smart & Co, CALA and S1 Developments.
