Client Service Executive - Private Client - Edinburgh
We are seeking a Client Service Executive in our Private Client team who is organised, people focused and ready to deliver first class support to some of our most important clients.
The Role
We have a new role for a Client Service Executive to join our Private Client department. The role can be either full or part-time but needs to be Monday to Friday. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills, with a strong ability to manage client enquiries, follow-up calls and maintain accurate records.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a first line contact for new and existing clients over phone and email via website
- Collect and accurately record detailed client information related to a wide range of legal enquires on Private Client services
- Create and maintain client “programmes/portfolios” to be passed on to Solicitors
- Arranging initial conflict checks
- Ensure all necessary client documentation and information is gathered in a timely manner
- Liaise between clients and Solicitors, ensuring clarity and timely flow of information
- Follow up with clients who have received quotations to confirm next steps and encourage progression and converting quotes into business
- Meeting targets for converting enquiries and logging reasons for non-conversions to be used to inform and change the process
- Accurate and timely onboarding liaising with clients and internal departments to provide information required such as Credas checks, etc
- Maintain accurate records for all communications using internal systems
- Provide professional, courteous and efficient service at all times
- Once work is completed, following up with clients with a courtesy call and exploring opportunities to cross-sell
Key Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in a customer service, client support, or sales (ideally in a legal or professional services environment)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and ability to handle sensitive situations in an empathetic manner
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with CRM or case management software is a plus
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to work independently and take the initiative to suggest client service improvements
