Andreea Negru

Andreea has recently qualified as an England & Wales solicitor in our Commercial Real Estate department having been with Anderson Strathern LLP since 2019. She holds a Masters’ degree in Law from University of Law (2024), Scottish paralegal qualification (2021) and a Law degree from University of Bucharest, Romania (2013).

Andreea specialises in property finance transactions acting for a number of lenders in providing secured financing to individual and corporate borrowers as well as providing general advice, with a focus on medium and high-value properties in England (in particular London), properties in Scotland and small to medium sized property portfolios. She also advises on a number of residential transactions in England and Wales, acting mostly for high-net-worth individuals, as well as on general and commercial real estate aspects such as sales, leases, notices, SDLT aspects, Land Registry issues, or research, and she is an integral part of the team and the wider department.

Her academical and varied practical legal experience over the past 15 years, and in particular her experience with Anderson Strathern, has helped Andreea build a well-rounded, pragmatic approach to transactions, with clients praising her practical attitude, resilient personality and strong organisational skills.

Outside work, Andreea enjoys photography, in particular chasing the Northern Lights (weather permitting!), a good movie and playing piano. She also enjoys reading and learning new things, and prior to her Masters she completed a Forensic Medicine and Science course at University of Edinburgh! Learning a new language is next on her list.
