Anderson Strathern joins forces with Maggie’s in year-long commitment to cancer support
Anderson Strathern has selected Maggie’s as its charity partner for the next 12 months, backing its essential support for people living with cancer across the UK.
Over the course of the year-long partnership, our team will take part in a range of fundraising activities and skills-based volunteering opportunities to support the charity, including the Glasgow Kiltwalk, the Walking Scotland Step Count Challenge and the Edinburgh Marathon.
For the year 2025-26, we proudly supported Alzheimer Scotland. Our partnership with this incredible organisation, that provides vital advice, information and support to people living with dementia, has allowed us to contribute significantly to their incredible work – raising a grand total of £21,492.60 throughout the year.
As we bid farewell Alzheimer Scotland after a year of successful fundraising, we’re excited to embark on this new partnership with Maggie’s and continue our commitment to making a positive impact in our community.
Richard Stewart, Partnerships Lead – Scotland at Maggie’s, said: “We are absolutely delighted to have been chosen as Anderson Strathern’s charity partner for 2026. As Maggie’s marks its 30th anniversary, this partnership represents a meaningful opportunity to build on the firm’s strong legacy of charitable support and make a real difference to people affected by cancer across Scotland. We’re excited to connect with the team and support their fundraising efforts through a dynamic and engaging calendar of activities – from Kiltwalk to quiz nights – all designed to raise vital funds and awareness of the work we do. We are sincerely grateful to be part of this national partnership and look forward to making a tremendous impact together.”
Our Chair, Carole Tomlinson, said: “Supporting the wider community is a key part of who we are as a business, and each year we focus our efforts on making a meaningful impact through a dedicated charity partnership. We’re looking forward to the year ahead with Maggie’s, and to see how our teams can come together to support the vital work they do.”
“We’ve enjoyed a successful year supporting Alzheimer Scotland and we’re grateful for the opportunity to have played a part in helping them make a difference.”
Kirsty Stewart, Director of Fundraising and Operations at Alzheimer Scotland, added: “Thank you so much to Anderson Strathern for their incredible efforts in raising £21,492.60 for Alzheimer Scotland. These funds will make a huge difference to those living with dementia across Scotland. Alzheimer Scotland is heavily reliant on fundraised income, and every penny raised helps us continue to support our vital network of Dementia Advisors, Brain Health and Dementia Resource Centres across Scotland, and our 24-hour Freephone Dementia Helpline (0808 808 3000). These services are crucial for people living with dementia, their families, friends, and carers. Thank you again to Anderson Strathern for helping Alzheimer Scotland Prevent Today, Care Now, and Cure Tomorrow.”
