James is a solicitor within the Employment, Immigration and Pensions Unit in the Edinburgh office, with experience in both employee and employer-related disputes. He offers balanced and strategic advice across the full spectrum of employment issues and has acted for a wide range of clients including private individuals and public sector organisations.
Prior to qualification as a solicitor, James underwent a varied traineeship and has many years of experience in the HR and recruitment sector. As a result, he can appreciate his clients’ concerns from an employer’s perspective and offer constructive, common-sense advice.
Away from the office, James likes to keep fit mainly through playing football or going on hikes all over the country.
