Software Developer - IT - Edinburgh
We are seeking a Software Developer to join our dynamic IT Department in Edinburgh. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and enhancement of our internal systems and processes.
As part of the Software Development Team, you will play a key role in designing, building, testing, enterprise system configuration and implementing new applications and interfaces, as well as supporting and improving existing ones.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software applications and system interfaces
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify and implement process improvements
- Test and deploy new systems and enhancements
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for existing solutions
- Ensure solutions align with quality standards and business requirements
Desirable Technical Skills
Experience in the following technologies is preferred
- ASP.NET
- C#
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Microsoft SQL Server
- SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and quality assurance practices
- Proficient with Microsoft development tools and technologies
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Effective communicator, able to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies
