Rebecca MacLeod

Rebecca supports the Rural Land and Business department with horizon-scanning, legal updates, legal research, and co-ordination and delivery of the training programme. She has a PhD in law, and uses those legal research skills to help provide great client service.

Rebecca enjoys teaching and is part of the visiting faculty at the Institute of Law in Jersey. She tutored for several years at the University of Edinburgh in various subjects, including property, trusts and succession. She brings this experience to her contributions to the firm’s internal and external training programmes.

Beyond law, Rebecca enjoys languages (she speaks English, Gaelic, and French), and music (both in and out of church), and being outdoors. She helps to organise the Edinburgh Local Mòd (a community arts festival) and can be seen competing at the National Mòd.
