Anderson Strathern reinforces commitment to Orkney with move to new Kirkwall office

Anderson Strathern has relocated its Orkney team to new premises in the heart of Kirkwall, marking the next phase of its investment in the Northern Isles.

The firm has moved to the centre of Kirkwall after first establishing a presence in Orkney during summer 2024 within a co-working space, strengthening access to a high-quality, full-service legal offering for local individuals, businesses and organisations.

Opposite one of the town’s recently regenerated areas, the office is close to a range of retail, leisure and hospitality businesses. It offers dedicated meeting rooms, expanded workspace and increased visibility, helping support the continued growth of the firm’s services and team in Orkney.

Sheila Tulloch, Partner at Anderson Strathern, said: “Our initial office in Orkney gave us the opportunity to establish strong local connections – but this move allows us to engage more directly with the community while underlining our long-term commitment to supporting clients, businesses and communities across Orkney.”

Ellen Eunson, Partner at Anderson Strathern, added: “Over the past few years, we’ve been focused on strengthening our presence across the Northern Isles, building on our established foundations in Shetland. We recognised a clear opportunity to develop a dedicated offering in Orkney, and the continued growth of our team has reinforced the importance of having a permanent presence here. We’re excited about the future and about continuing to invest in the region.”

The new office at 31–33 Bridge Street is now open, supporting clients across a broad range of legal services.
