Liam is an associate in our firm’s Commercial Litigation team. He has represented clients at both procedural and contentious hearings in Sheriff Courts throughout Scotland and has been involved in a number of arbitrations. He also frequently works on complex and high value Court of Session matters.
Working within this team, Liam has gained experience in a broad range of dispute resolution matters and has a particular interest in consumer disputes, intellectual property and contractual matters. Liam also regularly represents one of the firms’ main public authority clients at fatal accident inquiries and defends the interests of insurers in personal injury actions.
Liam has a keen interest in the legal impact of future and emerging technologies. He has been appointed to the firm’s Innovation Committee which focuses on how technology can be utilised to benefit the firm and our clients. He is also involved with the Future Industries sector group having presented on topics such as the aerospace industry and the commercial use of drones.
He is a member of the Scottish Young Lawyers Association and plays an active role in the firm’s external Young Professionals network. Outside of work, Liam is interested in football and rugby.
