Colin Young

Colin has a rich and diverse experience in all areas of law, but for the last two decades he has specialised in corporate and commercial work with particular focus on contracts and regulation. He helps all kinds of businesses in their relationships both internally and externally, locally and globally. Having built an enviable reputation for his expertly judged advice, he is instructed by many of the major multi-national corporations.

Colin is particularly interested in all types of commercial contract, restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, asset and reputation management and consultancy. Representing private individuals in their corporate investment and business activities, he helps to formulate strategies to protect intrinsic worth and maximise commercial opportunities.

Before joining Anderson Strathern, Colin was a senior and managing partner in another of Scotland’s leading legal practices, bringing with him the significant business understanding which such a role provides and adding further value to his relationships with our clients.
