Jemma Forrest

Jemma is a Senior Associate in the Employment, Immigration and Pensions team in our Glasgow office. She regularly represents both employer and employee clients across the private and public sectors.

Jemma advises clients in all aspects of contentious employment issues including unfair dismissal, discrimination, redundancy, disciplinary and grievance issues and whistleblowing, to name a few. She also has experience representing clients at tribunal hearings (as well as virtual hearings) and can assist employers with non-contentious matters such as drafting contracts of employment, reviewing policies and advising on TUPE transfers. She has experience advising HR clients on ad hoc employee relations matters as well as employees in relation to settlement agreements. Jemma also has extensive experience of mediations and is a trained mediator as she has a keen interest in this form of dispute resolution.

Jemma is an active member of our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Committee, acts as the trainee mentor and won the Meritas Women’s Leadership Congress Rising Star of the Year 2024.

Outside of the office you’ll find Jemma on her bike, climbing a hill or doing some other form of outdoor exercise!
