Read MoreJemma is an associate in the Employment, Immigration and Pensions Unit in our Glasgow office. She regularly represents both employer and employee clients across the private and public sectors.
Jemma advises clients in all aspects of contentious employment issues including unfair dismissal, discrimination, redundancy, disciplinary and grievance issues and whistleblowing, to name a few. She also has experience representing clients at tribunal hearings (as well as virtual hearings) and can assist employers with non-contentious matters such as drafting contracts of employment, reviewing policies and advising on TUPE transfers. She has experience advising HR clients on ad hoc employee relations matters as well as employees in relation to settlement agreements. Jemma also has extensive experience of mediations and has recently trained as a mediator as she has a keen interest in this form of dispute resolution.
Jemma is an active member of our Social Committee, is a representative on the firm’s staff forum and is also a health and safety representative. She was awarded Rising Star of the Year by the firm in 2019.
Outside of the office Jemma enjoys hillwalking and previously trekked through the Peruvian Andes to reach the summit of Machu Picchu. The next adventure is always on the horizon!
