Karen is a rural property specialist involved in the purchase and sale of country houses, estates, farms, crofts and forestry. She also handles general estate conveyancing and security work. Other facets of her work have involved wind, hydro and solar projects, sporting leases and servitudes for access and utilities.
Working with a number of our estate clients, including Crown Estate Scotland, Karen has advised on all aspects of agricultural law matters and crofting law issues, including applications to the Scottish Land Court.
Beyond her busy professional schedule, Karen is a serious netball player and a European C Grade qualified umpire. She’s also in training for her next half marathon.
