Simon is a highly experienced corporate commercial Partner advising private, public and third sector clients on complex business matters. His expertise covers business structures, governance, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, commercial contracts, intellectual property, procurement and EU/competition law.

He has led some of Scotland’s most innovative and high-value transactions, delivering commercially successful outcomes on challenging and strategically important projects.

Simon combines technical expertise with a pragmatic approach, ensuring clients achieve their objectives efficiently and effectively.

Recognised in both The Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners, Simon is also a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and a founding member of RSA Scotland’s Creative Industries Special Interest Group. He sits on the board of Publishing Scotland and chairs the Scottish Solicitors Staff Pension Fund.
