Lauren Finlay

Lauren is an Associate in our Private Client department, working out of both our Haddington and Edinburgh offices. She has a broad range of experience, specialising in the administration of complex, and often high net-worth estates, which can include providing bespoke advice and guidance to clients through the Probate and Inheritance Tax process. She also assists clients with lifetime succession planning, including preparation of Wills and Powers of Attorney.

Lauren prides herself on her empathetic and professional yet “down-to-earth” approach, ensuring that she provides sound and personal advice to clients, in a way that is accessible for all. She is keen to guide people through the legalities of all matters concerning “private client”, at what can sometimes be a stressful or upsetting time for families.

Outside of the office, Lauren enjoys spending time with her family in East Lothian – often sampling coffee at the local soft play or park! She also enjoys going on holiday, and catching up with friends for lunch or dinner, when she can.
