Laila is a senior solicitor in our commercial litigation team. She specialises in general litigation and has worked on property, subrogation, debt recovery and procurement disputes. She has experience in appearing in procedural court hearings in Sheriff Courts across Scotland as well as in Court of Session matters. Laila is also a Past President of the Scottish Young Lawyers’ Association.
She is dedicated to her clients and believes that constant communication is key to understanding a client’s needs, and in working towards achieving the best results for her clients.
Laila grew up in Aberdeen before moving to Edinburgh in 2022 and enjoys traveling back to her hometown whenever possible. When it comes to her personal interests, Laila enjoys Pilates, walking and discovering new places. During the winter months, you’ll find her cheering on the Scotland team at Murrayfield.
