Andrew is a Partner in our Employment, Immigration and Pensions team, advising businesses, individuals, and public sector and education bodies across the UK. Alongside broad employment law expertise, he is a recognised specialist in industrial relations and strategic HR support.

He leads our HR Plus service, deploying experienced HR consultants into workplaces to deliver project support and conduct complex disciplinary and grievance investigations.

Andrew heads the teams supporting major public sector clients including the Scottish Government Legal Department, UK Government Legal Department and the University of St Andrews, as well as numerous further education institutions. His commercial clients include Hyster-Yale Group, McAlpine & Co Ltd and Stobo Castle Health Spa.

He also advises employees, regularly represents clients in Employment Tribunal proceedings, and is instructed nationwide. An Accredited Specialist in Employment Law by the Law Society of Scotland, Andrew tutors on the Diploma in Professional Legal Practice at the University of Edinburgh and serves as External Examiner at the University of Aberdeen.
