Independent law firm Anderson Strathern has been named as a supplier on six lots of Government Commercial Agency’s (GCA) new RM6374 Legal Panel for Public Sector framework.
The firm, which has offices across Scotland – including the Northern Isles – has retained its position as a supplier on the public sector legal framework, securing re-appointments across all six lots for which it tendered:
- Lot 1a - Full Legal Service Provision for all Public Sector
- Lot 1b - Full Legal Service Provision for Local Government and Local Communities (including Housing & Charity sectors)
- Lot 1c - Full Legal Service Provision for Health and Social Care
- Lot 2 - Focused Legal Support
- Lot 3 - Litigation and Disputes
- Lot 4 - Projects and Complex Advice including PPP
The agreement runs until August 2029, with an option to extend for a further two 12-month periods, and has a potential spend value of £440m.

As well as being appointed to six new lots, Anderson Strathern is currently undertaking work on two additional lots under the previous GCA framework.
Anderson Strathern has longstanding experience advising public bodies across Scotland and the wider UK, with expertise spanning local government, health and social care and the third sector.
