Scottish Referrals Network: making a difference with mediation

Our qualified mediators, Danielle Stevenson, Jemma Forrest and Dawn Dickson form part of Anderson Strathern’s internal Mediation and Resolution Service.

They led a panel discussion on mediation, exploring how mediation can make a difference and how it can be used to resolve conflicts for your clients.

The topics included:

  • What mediation is and when to consider mediation
  • How it can benefit your client when resolving a dispute
  • How to instruct the right mediator
  • Success stories and case studies – the magic of mediation
  • The use of mediation in family and employment law

We also gave a brief overview of referral network activities planned for this year.

The Scottish Referrals Network

Our network, and our events, are free to join and we don’t ask for any commitment or exclusivity from our members. The benefits include a 10% referral fee, free quarterly CPD sessions and our advice line – a free 30-minute advice call for when you need extra expertise.

This event is open to anyone working at a Scottish solicitors’ firm who’d like to become a member of our network. Please feel free to share this invite with your colleagues and network.

If you know someone who would be interested in joining the network, have any specific questions or a client issue you’d like to discuss, you can get in touch with the team by emailing SRN@andersonstrathern.co.uk.
