Michael has been practising as a dispute resolution solicitor since 2009. He has extensive experience representing contractors, subcontractors, architects, engineers and consultants, as well as public bodies and insurers, in a wide variety of claims arising from building and infrastructure projects. He regularly advises clients on contract interpretation, disputes relating to delays and adjustment to contract prices, as well as complex and high value claims arising from workmanship and design defects.
As a Solicitor Advocate, Michael represents clients in both the Sheriff Court and the Court of Session, as well as at adjudication and mediation.
Outside of work, Michael enjoys spending time with his family. Despite having no discernible footballing ability of his own, he has found himself roped into coaching his son’s youth team
