Debbie Brown

Debbie is an Associate and Notary Public in the private client team in Edinburgh.  She prides herself on building a strong relationship with her clients and is committed to providing an excellent service and delivering bespoke advice to meet their needs and objectives.

She provides advice to individuals and families on a range of matters including drafting Wills, Powers of Attorney, Trust creation and administration, Executries, succession planning and asset protection.  She regularly works on the set up and ongoing administration of Trusts, her main area being Discretionary Trusts and Personal Injury Trusts.

Debbie also has considerable experience with complex executries having specialised in this area for a number of years. She continues to administer high-net worth estates and those with agriculture or business interests, providing invaluable help to families during a difficult time.

Debbie completed her Diploma at The University of Edinburgh and achieved the top student award in Private Client. She is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) having achieved Distinction in all certificates in the Diploma in Trusts and Estates (Scotland).

Outside the office, Debbie enjoys spending time with her young family, Pilates, running with friends and reading a good book.
