Sarah is a senior solicitor in the Dispute Resolution Department where she focuses on medical negligence, personal injury and professional regulation. Before she qualified as a solicitor, Sarah worked with us as a paralegal and trained with the firm. Now based in the healthcare team, Sarah has experience of a range of complex medical negligence cases, and has developed a particular interest in birth injury claims and cases involving women’s health.
She is also involved in a variety of workplace injury claims, including for people assaulted at work and those who are injured in the course of their employment. In her professional regulation practice, Sarah represents both registrants and regulators at disciplinary proceedings. She regularly acts for nurses before the Nursing and Midwifery Council in misconduct hearings. Sarah also appears at the sheriff court in Adults with Incapacity matters.
Sarah is client-centred and develops excellent client relationships, while dealing with cases in a sensitive and efficient manner.
Outside of work, Sarah takes every opportunity she can to explore new places, and has a big interest in history. She loves Mexican food and spends time cooking new recipes for friends and family to try.
