Salmon Fishings

Salmon fishings are different from other sporting interests in Scotland.

Salmon fishings may be owned separately from the land adjacent to the river or the river itself. It is possible to have three different owners, one for the land, one for the river running through it and one for the rights to fish for the salmon contained within.

		Separate ownership of salmon fishings can raise questions regarding access and other necessary ancillary rights. We advise on these. There may also be VAT implications, which we can assist with.
