Insurance
Peace of mind is a very valuable feeling to have. We all like to feel safe in the knowledge that we, and our property, are adequately insured against any potential damage. This is a feeling that the Anderson Strathern Insurance Unit strives to maintain for all our clients.
We are not here to baffle you with jargon or confuse you with reams of complex paperwork. Our job is to make sure that you and your property are secure and that you keep hold of your peace of mind.

We have access to all the major insurance companies and advisers.
We specialise in both general and life insurance, offering consistently competitive quotes and advice and assistance on all aspects from buying insurance to making claims.

Our life insurance services include endowment and savings policies, whole of life and joint life policies for inheritance tax planning, permanent health and critical illness policies and all with-profits and unit-linked products.

Where clients also deal with us for residential conveyancing work, we can offer a special scheme via a major insurer to provide temporary cover where necessary.

Our Insurance Unit is unique in having a binding authority at Lloyds via a Lloyds broker. This is suitable for those wishing to insure high value properties and contents. The rates are extremely competitive. The bulk of the risk underwriting is done from our Edinburgh office which means that if a claim arises under this scheme it can be dealt with rapidly and, if necessary, we can also appoint loss adjusters.

Anderson Strathern LLP is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority (FSA).
