Jessie, who heads the team, qualified with one of the major firms, specialising in the owner-managed business sector covering many business segments. She then went into industry as a financial controller before setting up in practice for herself for 12 years. She brings not only a wealth of experience to Anderson Strathern but also a specialist expertise in VAT issues. Hazel has spent 20 years in CA practices in Edinburgh and has vast experience of servicing owner managed businesses, sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. Scottish Law Society Accountants who have considerable experience of executry, guardianship, charity and trust accounting make up the rest of the team.

Company start up advice - we can help with setting up a book keeping system, advise which computerised package suits your business best and then help guide you throughout the year. Administration and accounting for charities - we will do everything from sifting appeal letters to select those matching your criteria, sending out donations, and providing annual accounts which comply with the Charities Statement of Recommended Practice (SORP) and the Charities Accounts (Scotland) Regulations 2006
