Legislative Drafting
In addition to advising on legislative procedure and on the practical application of law, the Parliamentary & Public Law Unit has extensive experience in the provision of legislative drafting services.
We can assist you with drafting legislation in a variety of contexts:

· primary legislation, including public and private Bills;

· secondary legislation, including professional and regulatory rules, Royal Charters, Orders of Council and Harbour Orders; and

· Bill amendments.

Combined with our drafting expertise in Scotland, the Unit has a well-established co-operation agreement with John Kennedy & Co, Parliamentary Agents at Westminster.
