Disclosure Issues
The law in Scotland relating to disclosure requirements is changing, with the passage of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
The Parliamentary & Public Law Unit has experience of advising a wide range of clients on the changes to disclosure requirements as a result of the new legislation. Our team is well placed to advise you and your organisation on the effect of the new requirements including new duties of certain bodies. We can advise on what the changes will be and when they will take place. Where appropriate, we can draft disclosure policies to assist you and your organisation in complying with the new requirements and check your current disclosure policies to ensure that they meet the needs of the current legislation.
