Regulatory
The Regulatory Law Group provides expert legal advice across a range of regulatory and public bodies in this growing area of the law.
The regulatory field has expanded significantly over the past few years as the media and the public focus on the practices of professionals and public servants. Professionals and public bodies now require robust advice on the regulatory and statutory frameworks which govern them and how to deal with issues such as misconduct, challenges to their decisions and appeals.
The Regulatory Law Group acts for a broad range of regulatory and public bodies including in the professional, health care, social care, parliamentary, financial and sporting areas. We have built up significant expertise in advising and representing these clients at hearings, tribunals, arbitrations and in court. We also draft, revise and advise on registration and conduct rules for our regulatory clients and are able to offer specialist services in this area.

Our expertise stretches beyond the regulatory and statutory framework - we are one of the major Scottish players in the field of human rights law and judicial review.

We are members of the Association of Regulatory and Disciplinary Lawyers.

For further information please contact one of our partners: Robert Carr, Robert Fife, Andrew Lothian or John Kerr.
