Anderson Strathern can advise on the purchase of new facilities, representation at disciplinary hearings and court cases, club/association constitutions, trademark exploitation, contracts and tax issues, employment disputes and claims arising from injuries. We are also experienced in managing book deals, merchandising contracts, sponsorship agreements and the protection of personal image rights as well as issues related to charitable status. We deal with a wide range of sporting disciplines including football, rugby, golf, boxing, athletics, tennis, cycling, ice skating, lacrosse, fencing, skiing and water-skiing. Our clients include individual sports men and women, sports clubs and National Governing Bodies. We also act for angling bodies and horse racing stables and with a strong Rural client base assist many in this aspect of Sports law.
