Development, Finance and Security
Finance for property deals payments can be structured in many ways. Our Banking Group and Construction Unit colleagues are experienced in all aspects of property finance. We are regularly instructed by banks to act in security/financing projects.
Through our regular advising of banks we have gained a special insight into the commercial judgements and priorities that are frequently called for to bring early completion to property finance work, whether advising the lender or the borrower.
If you have a development proposal but are unable to fund the scheme we may be able to assist in introductions to possible funding sources.

Recent examples of our property finance include acting for the primary Scottish banks and, for example, acting for the Bank of Scotland in the financing of the redevelopment of Buchanan House, Glasgow, Railtrack's Scottish headquarters. Please see our banking and corporate sections.
