The aim of ASset is to deliver affordable, tailored training in the field of employment and discrimination that is relevant, practical and engaging. Our workshops encourage learning and discussion of the legal and people management issues experienced within your business.
ASset takes the form of either a full or half-day interactive workshop. We can deliver a programme of workshops or single workshops a one off basis. Our workshops cover a variety of topics, including:

• Managing Disciplinary & Grievance Procedures;
• Preparing & Managing Investigations;
• Performance Management;
• Absence Management;
• Bullying & Harassment;
• Conducting an Equality Impact Assessment;
• Equality & Diversity for Managers;
• Mock Employment Tribunal hearing.
Whichever workshop(s) you choose, we will ensure delegates come away fully up to date on the law and practical issues in that area. Tried and tested tools and techniques will be used to deliver engaging and effective training for delegates. Our workshops will encourage creative thinking, develop the ability to proactively and constructively challenge and problem solve whilst also giving delegates the chance to have informal access to the facilitating solicitors.
The workshops can be delivered to any size of group and can be designed to suit any level within your organisation.
The costs are £180 plus vat per delegate for a full day workshop and £90 plus vat per delegate for a half day workshop.
We will offer an evaluation of the training data following each session by way of feedback to you on any discussion or action points that need to be considered and taken forward as part of your organisation's ongoing learning and development initiative. This feedback will be included within the costs for the training.
Delegates who are members of a professional body (e.g. The Chartered Institute of Personnel Development) may, by attending our training sessions, qualify for CPD points.
Training workshops can be delivered at our offices (in Edinburgh or Glasgow) or at your offices.
