The creation of the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR) in April 2006 and a new regulatory framework under the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005 have raised a great many issues.

We presented the first appeal to the Scottish Charity Appeals Panel. We also participated in the consultative focus group on the introduction of Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisations (SCIOs). This new legal form is intended to bring charities the benefits and legal protection of an incorporated body.
