Catriona is an Associate and notary public in our Dispute Resolution Department with a primary focus on the regulatory, public body and healthcare practice.
She is a member of the Association of Regulatory and Disciplinary Lawyers and regularly advises our clients on a range of regulatory issues including registration, regulation and professional disciplinary hearings.
Catriona also regularly provides detailed advice on statutory interpretation for our public body clients and advises on human rights law and judicial review. She is able to interpret complex legislation in a clear and understandable way for our clients.
In her healthcare practice Catriona deals with clinical negligence and pursuer claims. She has experience of complex and sensitive cases and has been instructed in fatal accident inquiries. She has considerable experience of Court of Session work preparing cases and instructing counsel.
Prior to qualifying as a lawyer, Catriona was a journalist and her career spanned newspapers, radio and BBC television news and current affairs.
