Industry Comments Chambers 2007 "John Mitchell leads a team of three conveyancers on rural property transactions throughout Scotland, working in particular for one of Scotland's largest landowners, the Buccleuch Group, as well as providing strategic advice on land holdings policy and legislative reform. Clients rated highly his 'ability to juggle a lot of balls in the air at once' and 'willingness to make predictions'. He was recently able to negotiate and complete agreements resulting in the lease of over 20 million litres of milk quota from English producers, successfully enhancing the single farm payments made to the Scottish clients."
