Bill is Claims Manager in the Dispute Resolution Department. He is currently handling claims from one of our insurer clients under a delegated authority scheme. This involves all aspects of these claims with a view to negotiating settlement. Claims are mainly motor liability with some public and employer liability cases also.
Prior to joining Bill worked for a major insurer for over 37 years starting out as a junior claims handler and latterly becoming Claims Office Manager a position he held for 9 years. Apart from the handling of the larger claims this involved day to day running of the office and looking after an average of 35 staff. So apart from his claims handling experience he also has significant experience in the personnel and training areas. He has dealt with all kinds of motor claims from accidental damage to personal injury and has also dealt with large domestic losses and claims under Employers and Public Liability Policies. He is qualified A C I I (Associate of Chartered Insurance Institute).
