Claire is an Associate in our Employment Unit. She is involved in all aspects of Employment Law including discrimination, Contracts of Employment, Service Contracts, employment disputes including attendance at Employment Tribunals around the country, family friendly issues, data protection issues,TUPE and changes in management strategies.
She is presently developing her expertise in disability discrimination having been involved in applicant cases concerning repetitive strain injury, back injury and depression. She is involved in management aspects of acquisitions and post acquisition harmonisation of terms and conditions of employment as well as advising on internal policies and procedures.
Claire has given a number of presentations on matters of employment law and is responsible for the Employment Unit's Club HR programme. She is a member of the Scottish Discrimination Law Association.
Claire has attained the Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources Management. This gives her graduate membership of the CIPD.
