Alec Stewart
Alec is a partner in our Private Client department.
He is dual qualified (Scotland and England/Wales) and is head of the asset management team, advising on all areas of private client work with a particular emphasis on investment management, financial/tax planning and protecting clients' assets.
Alec is authorised by the Financial Services Authority to give financial advice. He is a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute and he tutors on the financial services course of the Diploma in Legal Practice at the University of Edinburgh.
Alec is also a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and a Writer to the Signet.
He is also a Notary Public.
