Alan Sharp

Alan is a partner in our Private Client department.

He has over 25 years experience of advising on wealth preservation and succession matters. He covers all aspects of private client work including wills and executries, tax planning and trusts as well as issues relating to incapacity and the elderly. He also acts for a small number of grant giving charitable trusts.

Alan has been a tutor at the University of Edinburgh Legal Practice Unit and was later the external examiner for the private client course.

He is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and an Associate Member of the Securities and Investment Institute.

Alan speaks regularly on private client matters.
