James is the Head of our Corporate Finance team and is expert in the fields of property structures (joint ventures, unit trusts and limited partnerships both on and offshore), finance and development. He has extensive experience in large scale regeneration and mixed use development projects and in all aspects of the funding of property and other corporate vehicles.
James was formerly Group Solicitor and Company Secretary of the Stannifer Group of companies which had over 3 million square feet of property under development. James has also acted for Chelsfield plc on projects including Stratford City, East London (the UK's largest single planning consent) and was responsible for negotiating, managing and implementing drawdown of the £1.6 billion permanent financing of the Chelsfield take private.
