We are a founding member of the Association of European Lawyers. This is a close network of firms from jurisdictions from almost all European countries with the ability to work in harmony, providing a consistent, commercial response on cross-border issues.
Established in 1989, the AEL has grown to become one of the leading networks of independent law firms. The majority of the firms are ranked inside the top ten in their respective jurisdictions and have come together with the aim of providing specialist advice across the continent. It works on a non exclusive referral basis relying on close contact between member firms, thus ensuring all seek to maintain the highest of standards.
John Kerr is a member of the Executive Committee of the Association. He comments,
