Steven Dunn
Steven is a senior associate and the head of pensions within our Employment and Pensions unit. He has specialised in pensions law since 1995 and joined us in January 2011.
Steven has advised trustees, employers, scheme members and trade unions on all aspects of pensions law and for both private and public sector schemes. He has advised on matters including the winding up of final salary schemes, the amendment of existing schemes or the introduction of new pension arrangements, the legal issues concerning scheme deficits and the strategies to deal with these and the pension issues arising from corporate transactions and PFI/PPP deals. Steven has a particular interest in small self-administered schemes and self-invested personal pension plans. He has also advised in relation to pensions litigation, including petitions for directions from the Court of Session and complaints to the Pensions Ombudsman.
Steven has been recognised by leading legal directory Chambers UK 2013 as a 'Leader in their field' for Pensions (Glasgow, Edinburgh & Surrounds).
Steven has been a full member of the Association of Pension Lawyers since 1997.
