Pamela Keys


Pamela is a director in our Employment and Pensions department.
She has specialised in employment law since 1998 and joined us from McGrigors LLP where she was a director in the Employment and Pensions team.
Pamela advises on the full range of employment law matters including unfair dismissal, all types of discrimination (with a particular interest in disability), redundancy and reorganisations, TUPE, contractual matters, contractual changes, salary sacrifice arrangements, industrial action and the employment aspects of changes to/closure of occupational pension schemes etc. Pamela has appeared in both the employment tribunal and employment appeal tribunal and she regularly provides bespoke training for clients on a whole range of employment related matters.
Pamela's recent experience includes:
Successfully defending a national bookmaking company in a high value disability discrimination case involving multiple medical conditions and medical experts;
Successfully defending a multi-million pound claim from a city oil trader for race discrimination and constructive dismissal;
Acting for an oil company in the employment aspects of the sale of one of its chemical plants;
Acting for a number of employer clients advising on the employment aspects of changes to or closure of occupational pension schemes;
Advising a number of clients on making changes to terms and conditions of employment;
Successfully defending a car retailer in a long running constructive dismissal and age discrimination claim;
Advising a manufacturing company regarding ballots for industrial action, picketing and strike action;
Providing bespoke training for a number of clients on matters such as the Equality Act 2010, unfair dismissal, disability discrimination, disciplinary and grievance matters and a mock employment tribunal hearing.
