Isla Henderson is a solicitor working in our Corporate department.
She advises on all aspects of corporate and corporate real estate work.
Isla has played a key role in relation to a variety of transactions including:
- acting for Thameswey Limited, a subsidiary of Woking Borough Council, in the financing, structuring and negotiation of its £68m acquisition of Wolsey Place Shopping Centre in Woking.
- acting for Strathclyde Partnership for Transport (SPT) in its implementation of the Glasgow Airport Rail Link Act and dealing with the transfer of the project and statutory functions to Transport Scotland.
- acting for Buccleuch Group on the funding arrangements with US investors in relation to the demolition and construction of the 8 storey office block Intercity House in Glasgow city centre.
- acting for the John Martin Group in relation to the sale of its flagship Vauxhall and Chevrolet dealerships in Aberdeen and Edinburgh to the Peter Vardy Group.
- acting for Peacocks Centre in relation to the short term letting arrangements at Peacocks Shopping Centre, Woking.
- acting for a large client in relation to the refinancing of over £140m worth of banking facilities.
- acting for a well known private limited company in relation to the refinancing of over £1.5m worth of banking facilities.
- acting for a number of institutional lenders in connection with the provision of loan facilities.
